This two-disk package showcases Chicago Blues legends at the height of their improvisational skills, captured live in the small clubs that dotted the 70's blues show circuit. Chicago Blues Shows of the 70's features a hall of fame ensemble of Urban Blues performers including John Littlejohn, Johnny Young, Jimmy Rodgers, Carey Bell, Magic Slim, Eddy Clearwater, and Richard "Hub Cap" Robinson. Any listener of Chicago Blues Shows of the 70's will surely appreciate the intimacy of the gigs of this period, and the passion of the performances that defined an era of blues music.
